| NISEVU RAFIKI SERVICE
1. What is the ZANTEL Nisevu Rafiki Service?
This is a service that gives Zantel’s loyal customers (customers who have stayed with Zantel for over 3 months and have used more than TSH 12,000 on airtime) FREE credit of up to TSH 1000 every time they run out of credit to finish their calls. If you run out of airtime, can’t get a voucher late at night, Zantel won’t let you down.
Zantel is the only mobile company in Tanzania that gives customers free credit to finish their calls.
2. How Does Nisevu Rafiki work?
Zantel loyal customers have to subscribe to Nisevu Rafiki simply by dialing *131# and they will access the service every time they run out of airtime. In case a customer no longer wishes to use the service they can simply opt out by dialing *130#. Customers who use the service will pay back the extra TSH 1,000 the next time they top up.
If the customer uses up the entire TSH 1,000 overdraft they will not be able to make calls until they pay back the full amount.
3. Are there any conditions behind Nisevu Rafiki?
There are no hidden conditions with Nisevu Rafiki and the aim of this service is to help our customers, our friends finish their calls without worrying about running out of credit.
There are no additional or hidden charges with the TSH 1000 credit and it is used up at exactly the same low rates as normal calls and vouchers. Customers will pay back the exact amount of the overdraft they have spent up to the time they recharge their phones.
For example if a customer to use only TSH 300 of the overdraft and they recharge their phone with TSH 1,000 worth of airtime ONLY TSH 300 will be deducted from their account.
4. How will a customer know they qualify to use the Nisevu Rafiki service?
Customers that qualify to use the Nisevu Rafiki service will receive a text message informing them that they qualify to use the service and if they want to subscribe they simply dial *131#. To qualify to use Nisevu Rafiki from Zantel a customer must have been with Zantel for at least 90 days and must have spent at least TSH 12,000 worth or airtime.
If customer wishes to unsubscribe they simply dial *130#
5. What has been the response of Nisevu Rafiki?
We have received a very positive response to the service from our customers throughout the country and they are grateful that Zantel is the first and only company that is giving its customers free credit of up to TSH 1,000 to allow them finish their calls when they are stuck with no credit.
